JAS Oceania, was incorporated in August 2005.

Originally JAS was to stand for “ Japanese Alternators and Starters” and the original plan was for the business to major in this area.

In September 2005 The shareholders realized it already had massive support from Suppliers, Customers and prospective staff. It was then decided to launch as a full range supplier to the Automotive Electrical and Air Conditioning market with Australia wide distribution.

In November 2005 JAS launched in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. Only 6 months later it had opened in Perth, Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton and Sydney. JAS opened its 9th branch in Darwin  in May 2007 and its 10th in Albury in June 2007.

JAS Oceania’s growth in it first 2 years has been absolutely outstanding. JAS has firm plans in the next financial year to further grow its distribution network and to rapidly expand its product offering.
